Perhaps you're here because you sense the beckoning of the underworld; the parts that have been muted, the untapped potential, the unmet needs, the unspoken words. Somatic psychotherapy provides the space to explore and express all parts, paving a way to richness, expansion, fulfilment and depth to your life.

How I work
Body-Mind Connection
Our body and mind are intrinsically linked. Just as our experiences shape the very foundations of who we are, it is our body that holds the story. Bringing awareness and expression to both the narrative and the felt sense of your experience, we allow for deeper healing and transformation. I work with the understanding that your body holds intrinsic wisdom that knows the way home.
Creating a safe space
We physiologically need safety in order to digest and alchemise our experience. Working with your nervous system, aided by nature, we can nurture safety. Encoding that into our bodies so that we can increase our capacity for life as we want it, no longer driven by fear.
Reconnect & Reclaim
This work is a retrieval and reclamation of what we know deep within our bones. Reconnecting to and reclaiming parts of ourselves that have been exiled, often shrouded in shame. Releasing the parts that no longer serve us. This reclamation is such a powerful part of what it means to be whole, human and alive!
Into the Mystic
Society demands that we have an answer for everything. I love seeing how science is catching up to what we have known in our bones for thousands of years. It can help provide some grounding and stability. However, a large part of this work is leaving space for the unknown, the uncertainty, the underworld. For it is here that lies the most fertile ground for transformation.

Anger
Anger is an incredibly powerful emotion that can be challenging to express safely. Inherited beliefs often stigmatize anger, leading to repression and shame. Therapy guides you to reconnect with anger, nurturing its roots, and reclaiming it's use as your very own protective ally
Anxiety
I work with anxiety as unexpressed charge within the system leading to chronic dysregulation. Somatic psychotherapy supports you to move through and express the unspoken words, the unmet needs, the stifled reflexes, guiding the system back to its natural flow.
Depression
Depression is a protective response to overwhelming, unsupported situations, leading to shutdown. Through a dance of holding and expression, somatic therapy aims to guide you back to the flame of life force vitality.
Addiction
Addiction serves as a coping mechanism to escape internal pain. Therapy provides the space to hold, soothe, move and alchemise that pain. When we no longer have to numb, we get the chance to experience the fullness of life.
Sexuality
Our sexuality is one of our biggest sources of power, yet it is often over-coupled with shame. Sessions allow the space to rebuild safety within our bodies, explore our own sexuality and reignite our passion, sensuality and pleasure.
Feeling lost
Feeling lost signifies a disconnect to our body and/or our soul's purpose. Somatic therapy meets you where you are offering a beacon of light to orient to whilst reconnecting back to purpose, direction and passion.
Trauma
Trauma impacts our whole being; our mind, body, relationships, sense of ourselves, others and the world. In therapy, the focus is on reclaiming a sense of safety and empowerment in life, through somatically processing the experiences, gently digesting within the body to transform the pain into our own life force vitality.
Women's Health
There is so much that can tied into living in a female body. Somatic Therapy holds space to explore our bodies not just as a series of medical symptoms but as an expression of our lived experiences, cyclical nature, hormonal cycles and more complex nervous systems.
Loneliness
Even in a room full of people, we can feel so alone. Often this signifies an abandonment of self. Somatic therapy holds space to explore its origins and gently reconnect to all parts, welcoming them back to pave the way for richer relationship both to yourself and others.
Relationships
Relationships are at the heart of our lives, but past experiences can make them feel unsafe or repeatedly painful. Therapy offers a space to explore unhealthy patterns, understand their origins, and build the foundation for healthier, more fulfilling connections in mind, body and soul
